There are a variety of courses at FUA that fulfill CNU's Liberal Learning requirements, particularly in the following areas of inquiry:
Global and Multicultural Perspectives (AIGM)
Creative Expressions (AICE)
Investigating the Natural World (AINW without lab)
Western Traditions (AIWT)
Language (only Italian courses available)
Major academic areas available at FUA
A variety of ANTH classes are available as well as an option for the major elective in either ANTH, SOCL, or CRIM.
Upper level biology courses are available with a focus on health realated topics. A great match for pre-health students or those interested in learning more about healthcare as a part of the upper level coursework in the biology major.
Marketing and Management majors may be able to take two major courses while at FUA. Students earning business credits will need to pay an additional fee of $550 in order to have their credit transferred from the University of South Florida for AACSB accreditation purposes.
Several COMM courses are available for students to select at the 200 and 300 levels.
A variety of CRIM 3XX classes are available as well as an option for the major elective in either ANTH, SOCL, or CRIM.
An upper level ECON course is available. Please communicate with your advisor to ensure this will keep you on track with your sequences of your major requirements.
A variety of courses are available for students interested in writing or literature.
Major electives are available such as: ANTH 325, EVST 395.
Studio Art and Art History are available with many options for students.
There are several courses offered from the major electives. Students should meet with the Director of the Global Commerce major to learn about additional course options from the semester program.
Primarily HIST 395 for European Area will be offered.
There are academic options for both majors.
Students can take courses in political science for their upper level major electives.
Students take 300 level electives for the major. Courses are available that fulfill the major elective area. There are no classes at the 400 level.
A variety of SOCL 3XX classes are available as well as an option for the major elective in either ANTH, SOCL, or CRIM.

American Studies (AMST) are not taught at FUA, but some of the concentration electives may be taught. Review the list of courses available to see if the equivalents at CNU will align with any of your concentration areas. Students may also participate if working on core, elective or minor requirements.
Chemistry is not taught at FUA, but students may participate if working on core, elective or minor requirements.
Classical Studies is not taught at FUA, but students may participate if working on core, elective or minor requirements.
Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Cyber Security and Information Science are not taught at FUA, but students may participate if working on core, elective or minor requirements.
Italian language is the only option at FUA. Language majors may attend this program to work on core, electives, or minor requirements.
Leadership is not taught at FUA, but students may participate if working on core, elective or minor requirements.
There are few Math courses at FUA, but students may participate if working on core, elective or minor requirements.
There are some music courses, but not enough for a music major to remain on track to graduate. Contact the Study Abroad Office if you would like to review the options available.
There is no neuroscience department, but students could take courses in psychology or biology. We recommend speaking to the Study Abroad Office to learn about options with neuroscience courses.
Courses are not taught in the area of Physics. Student may attend the program if taking courses in the core, elective, or minor areas will work for their 4-year plan.
Courses are not taught in the area of Social Work. Student may attend the program if taking courses in the core, elective, or minor areas will work for their 4-year plan.
There are not options for Theater courses at FUA, but students may participate if working on core, elective or minor requirements.
