Clubs for you 

We pride ourselves on having a broad range of  extra curricular activities. These include a wide variety of sports, performance art, visual art and a selection of academic subjects.​

As our students move into college, they can choose to become part of an academy, where their hobbies and extra curricular activities become integrated with their timetables.

Learn a new skill, explore an interest and make new friends!

Please spend some time looking at what is on offer here at Newman, and give some things a go!

Where do I go for my sports clubs?

Before School & Breaktime Clubs – Monday (Yr 7–8)

Early Morning Football

• Open to all Yr 7–8 students

• Kit: PE kit and boots (if taking part in football or rugby)

Locations & Changing Instructions

• Netball/Basketball – Change in St Mary’s, then head to courts or St Mary’s Sports Hall

• Football/Rugby –

•     Week A: Football (on 4G) – change at the 4G, boots required

  • Week B: Rugby (on 4G) – change at the 4G, boots required

  • If on grass – change in St Mary’s

• Table Tennis – No need to change, meet at the Lutwyche Gym
