Welcome you to our Year 11 Web Page.
At Newman, we foster a supportive and inclusive environment for your journey towards your final exams.
Our dedicated Pastoral Team, including all of our fabulous Fotm Tutors, PPLs and PAMs are here to guide and inspire you to reach your full potential, both academically and personally.

Year 11 prepares students for their GCSE examinations and BTEC submissions alongside supporting students with their Post-16 education or employment plans.
In Year 11, all students study a core curriculum of English Literature and Language, Maths, Science (double or triple) RE. They also study PSHE and PE which are not examined. They then have the choice of four options from Art, Asdan, Business, Computing, Dance, German, Drama, DT, Food, Fast Track Humanities, French, Geography, Health & Social Care, History, IT, Media, Maths Statistics, Music, Music Technology, PE GCSE and BTEC Sport, Photography, Support Studies, Spanish, Travel & Tourism and Textiles.
