At Cardinal Newman Catholic School and Sixth Form, we run a number of events throughout the year that support our Careers Programme.
Autumn Term 2023
Year 7 Supporting Success Evening | Thursday 14 September
A session for Parents/Carers of Year 7 Students, to find out more about how they can succeed in the academic year.
Year 8 & 9 Supporting Success Evening | Monday 16 October
Usually we aim to start our evening events at 6pm (other than progress evenings) but have broken our own rules on this occasion as we are hosting two events in one evening. The year 8 presentation will run from 5.30 to 6.15pm and the year 9 presentation will run from 6.30 to 7.15pm. Both of these will take place in the Newman lecture theatre and we will write directly to families with more information shortly.
Year 8 & 9 Green Careers Fair | Thursday 2 November
We have invited a number of employers to discuss the various careers that involve thinking about sustainability.
