*The spelling tests will now contain one dictation sentence each week. Students will be accountable for correct spelling, capitalization, word spacing, and punctuation.

Science: 

We will finish up our unit on light and sound waves. 

Social Studies:

Students will begin Unit 5 on “Why do people work?”. Students will identify goods and services and the differences between them. They’ll explain why they are important in the community and give examples of each. 

Writing:

We will begin research writing. We are working on making an animal book of the animals we research. We will be both writing and typing our paragraphs. We will continue working on organization: creating a plan, a topic sentence, and three details. We will use complete thoughts, proper spacing, capitalization, and punctuation.
