We love to celebrate birthdays in First Grade!  Food items must be store bought, remain sealed, and nut free.  A list of ingredients MUST accompany the food item.  

The class will celebrate student birthdays during snack time; therefore, please have your child’s food item, napkins, AND any necessary utensils at school by 12:00pm.  Please do not send additional treats, such as pencils, goodie bags, etc as we ARE NOT permitted to distribute them per our Health and Wellness Committee guidelines. Candles are NOT permitted due to fire codes. Thank you for your understanding.

Please inform me if you will be sending in an item for your child’s birthday.  Summer birthdays will be celebrated during the month of June.

Birthday parties are fun no matter what age! If you plan to send invitations to school, please place the invitations in your child’s Take Home Folder for me to distribute.  I ask that you please invite the entire class, OR all of the boys, OR all of the girls.  If you are unable to do so I kindly ask that you please utilize our Class Friendship Directory for your guest list.  Although First Graders are little, their feelings are big and can easily be hurt.  Thank you for your understanding.  Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any questions.
