Hello Eagles family!
I am Mearl Robinson the School Psychologist that will be servicing Westerly Hills Academy for the 2022-2033 school year. I began my journey at CMS in the middle of last school year and was welcomed with open arms and excitement by the staff and students at Westerly Hills. As your school psychologist I like to think of myself as the bridge between General Education and Exceptional Children. My main responsibility is to assess scholars who are suspected of having a disability. This may be social, emotional, behavioral, cognitive or multiple disabilities. With this information, the team is able to develop strategies to provide a better learning environment for our exceptional scholars. One of my goals for this year to become more active within Westerly Hills with a focus on MTSS & outreach initiatives. So, if you see me, please say hello! I am probably lost and looking for some direction and a friendly face. However, if you do not see me in my office or walking the halls, I am within reach via email. I’ll be seeing you around!
