Email Ms. McDougall with the following information: (catherine1.mcdougall@cms.k12.nc.us)
A brief description of your event
Your preferred event date + rehearsal time
Two alternate dates including rehearsal if needed.
A short description of your vision for the event.
Ms. McDougall will reply with a confirmed available date. Event dates are scheduled based on overall availability and the scope and size of the event, including rehearsal needs and technical requirements. Because the Auditorium supports many events, technician availability, existing bookings, and the time of year all affect what can be supported. Some events may need to be scaled back or adjusted to fit available resources. Events that require extensive rehearsal time or significant technical support will require a planning meeting with Ms. McDougall and Administration before a date can be scheduled.
🛑 Do not advertise or publicly announce your event at this stage.
Once your dates have been confirmed as available by Ms. McDougall, please secure permission from the appropriate option below:
BR Faculty - must secure permission from Mr. Milote to host your event in the Auditorium.
Students at BR - must secure a faculty sponsor, who must then get approval with Mr. Miliote.
Non-BR CMS employees - please email Ms. McDougall, and cc Mr. Miliote and your supervisor.
Upon receiving the booking confirmation, please do the following: (This does not apply to Community Use of Schools contracts.)
Contact Head Custodian to notify them of your event.
Contact the SRO to book police.
Contact Matt Weber to have your event added to the master calendar.
Contact Jillian Frankl to make sure you have the appropriate AC setting.
It is your responsibility to make these contacts.
Submit the technical information form here.
Once you submit the form you will be assigned a team of Ridge Rep Technicians. Here is a guide for working with technicians.
Email Ms. McDougall after completing all of the above steps to book a production meeting with your technicians for your event, to go over all details.
