This is an activity for 3rd through 5th grade. We have used Storyboardthat.com previously and this is a fun way to create their own stories.
Students can create their own story about things that they are doing while we are out of school in the a comic strip format. Students can create dialogue between the different characters.

ONEAccess
What is ONEAccess?
ONE Access is a collaboration between Charlotte Mecklenburg Library and Charlotte- Mecklenburg Schools that began in 2015. Students can use these resources even with the public library being closed.
What Resources are Offered?
ONEAccess allows students to borrow eBooks and e-resources with no late fees.
Access to over 50 online resources and research databases to include Tutor.com, NC Kids Digital Library, and Encyclopedia Online.
There are no overdue fines for ONE Access accounts, but users are responsible for fees on lost or damaged books.
Students login using their Student ID for the username and their birth year for the PIN.

What is SORA?
SORA is our new CMS district-wide ebook platform for academic and leisure reading!
Students can check-out ebooks purchased by your school or district, plus ebooks from CharMeck Public Library & NC Kids Digital Library!
Students can access SORA via the Student Portal located on the CMS home page, Soraapp.com, or via NCEdCloud through Clever.
