Hello Parents and Staff. Myself and Ms Jordan are putting on an honors dance and drama performance Thursday, January 15th at 6:30pm. Whether your kids are in the show or if you’d just like to attend please feel free to! It is a free event.
Kids who are performing will be staying after school. Food and drink will be provided for them during that time.

This is a reminder of orchestra's Winter concert.
The concert is tomorrow, Wednesday, 12/10, at 7 pm. Parents can enter the concert hall beginning at 6:40 pm.
However, all the students are required to stay after school dismissal to prepare for the concert.
The concert preparation begins at 3:40 pm. Also, Students will get a slice of pizza. Students can bring their own snack. Donations to share are welcome. The rehearsal begins at 4:30 pm. Please let me know if you need anything. See you all tomorrow.

Participating in the CMS All-District 2025-2026 Honors Orchestra audition last Saturday was an amazing experience.
Here are the results.
There are two honors orchestras in middle school. The Philharmonic is the intermediate ensemble, and the Symphonic is the advanced ensemble.
Even if you weren't selected for this year's audition, I will still be incredibly proud of all of you. It significantly improved, and we can use the same materials for the upcoming audition scheduled for February for the NC Junior Western Region Orchestra.
