Private Scholarships for DACA/undocumented students:

  • Golden Door Scholars provides scholarships for DACA recipients and undocumented students. Students may be high school seniors or recent graduates. Preference given to high school graduates from states that require students to pay out-of-state tuition.
  • The Dream.US: scholarship covers tuition and fees up to a maximum of $14,500 for an associate’s degree and $29,000 for a bachelor’s degree, at one of our their Partner Colleges.
  • Ford Foundation Predoctoral Fellowships: fellowship that offers undergraduates in their senior year and other students working towards doctoral degrees $24,000 a year for a period of three years (open to DACA recipients)
  • Microsoft Award (for STEM fields): tuition scholarships and conference scholarships to encourage students to pursue studies in Computer Science and related STEM; open to DACA recipients.
  • Paul & Daisy Soros for New Americans: $90,000 merit-based fellowship for immigrants and children of immigrants who are pursuing graduate school in the United States; open to DACA recipients.
  • Latino Community Credit Union “Dreamer” Loans: low-interest loans for students applying or renewing DACA
  • La Unidad Latina Foundation: scholarships ranging from $500 to $1000 for “outstanding community leaders from universities and colleges across the United States;” open to DACA recipients
  • MALDEF (Mexican American Legal Defense Fund) scholarship list: extensive list of scholarships, fellowships, and loans available to undocumented students
  • So Good Pupusas: offer two (2) one-thousand dollar scholarships ($1,000) to undocumented high school seniors. This scholarship can be renewed every year following, eligibility requirements are met.
  • Hispanic Heritage Fund: offers a variety of scholarships to assist students of Hispanic heritage obtain a college degree. This scholarship is open to DACA recipients or eligible non-citizens (as specified by FAFSA).


Private Scholarships for Native American students:

  • American Indian Graduate Center & AIGCS - The largest scholarship providers to Native students in the United States, awarding $15 million in scholarships annually and more than $200 million since inception. For almost 50 years, AIGC has funded students pursing undergraduate, graduate, and professional degrees in any field of study at any accredited institution of choice, working with over 500 tribes in all 50 states.
  • American Indian College Fund – Provides Native American students with scholarships and financial support for the nation’s 33 accredited tribal colleges and universities.

  • Coca Cola Scholarship: $20,000 toward any university
  • Thurgood Marshall College Fund – Provides scholarships, programmatic and capacity building support to the 47 public Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs).
  • Gates Millennium Scholars – Provides outstanding low income African American, American Indian/Alaska Native, Asian Pacific Islander American, and Hispanic American students with an opportunity to complete an undergraduate college education in any discipline they choose.
  • Dell Scholars Program – Recognizes academic potential and determination in students that have a definite need for financial assistance.
  • UNCF – Awards 10,000 students each year through 400 scholarship and internship programs so that students from low- and moderate-income families can afford college tuition, books and room and board.
  • Reagan Foundation Scholarships - Scholarship opportunities for outstanding student leaders.
  • Goizueta Legacy Scholarship - Provides scholarships for the children of Coca-Cola employees.
