About Ms. Brown

My name is Maribeth Brown, and I'm your media specialist at Ridge Road Middle School. This is my ninth year at Ridge Road. My husband and I welcomed our first and only child, Sadie, into the world this July.

Before I became your media specialist, I grew up in small town called Iron Station, which is about 45 minutes from Charlotte. I earned my bachelor's degree at Appalachian State University, and taught high school English for 6 years while earning my master's in library sciences though North Carolina Central University.

My goal is to spread my love of reading to you and to help you in your pursuit of knowledge. Please do not hesitate to contact me if you need assistance or have any questions.
