Paideia Picnic is an opportunity for children in lower El to participate in a Socratic-style discussion related to a given novel. To participate, read the book and sign up outside Ms. Katie's classroom door. Below are the dates and book titles for the 2022-2023 Paideia picnic.

Math Olympiad is a national math competition for Upper El children who excel in Math.
Math Olympiad competitions will be held during our normal math time the third month of November, December, January, February, and March. The "competitions" consist of 5 challenging math problems that will be individually solved.
We are participating in Battle of the Books this year! This is an opportunity for our 4th/5th grade book-lovers to read 6 books this year. Monthy, we will meet and discuss the books. The district-wide Battle of the Books competition will be held in the Spring. More information about this opportunity will be shared in class!
