I am Lennard Small and I am the Pathway Development Coordinator (PDC) at The Phillip O Berry Academy of Technology High School. My role is to support Career and Technical Education (CTE) by coordinating pathway services for students participating in our STEM Magnet program. I work collaboratively with administrators, student services personnel, teachers, parents, business/industry partners, and community organizations to ensure the delivery relevant technical knowledge and skills that will foster career and college opportunities for students.
I've listed a few Pathway development services for Berry Cardinals but not limited to:
Pathway selection
Monitor student alignment to pathways
Ensure each student is a CTE concentrator
Promote, maintain and track student credentials (certifications) in all CTE program areas
Coordinate CTE Assessments, to include State Assessments, Local Course Offerings, and Project Lead the Way (PLTW)
Promote Career and Technical Student Organizations (CTSO)
