A sequence of courses in this pathway teaches you about manufacturing processes, product design, robotics, and automation. Manufacturing jobs are increasing but the industry has a severe shortage of workers equipped with the knowledge and skills needed to function in advanced manufacturing workplaces. There is an immediate opportunity for you to jump into. 

A sequence of courses in this pathway, you acquire the expertise required for automotive maintenance, servicing, and basic testing of brakes, electrical systems, drivetrain, engine, HVAC, and steering/suspension systems. If you like hands-on learning, this is right up your alley. Apprenticeship, internship, and job shadowing opportunities prepare you for the Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) certification in Maintenance and Light Repair (MLR- G1). 

A sequence of courses and the use of Adobe Creative Cloud software helps you develop skills in video and image manipulation, web development and visual communication.  You develop logos and magazine layouts to help prepare you for Adobe certifications and a career in graphic art and design.

This pathway prepares you to  pursue health-related degrees  and professions, offering a foundation of knowledge and skills. Areas of focus are ethics, professionalism, prevention (wellness), diagnostics, therapeutics and rehabilitation. You gain critical career knowledge through a series of work-based learning experiences.

This pathway teaches the history of games and technology used to produce games, game ratings, game theory, how to prepare documents necessary to enter the game industry and game design. You produce a board-game prototype, develop and practice skills in 3D modeling and Game Maker, and produce a working 2D game. Instruction emphasizes visual design, evaluating, scripting and networking protocols, and legal issues as well as 3D visual theory.

You gain a deep understanding of software development through exposure to the fundamentals of computer science in this pathway.  After a grounding in basic concepts of computer science and how it is embedded into our everyday lives, you shift up to specific areas of focus in computer programming

This pathway teaches you core content to prepare them for multiple careers in marketing. You incorporate various technologies into courses and gain relevant credentials along with work-based learning/internship experiences.

As a nonprofit ministry serving Charlotte, we've partnered with Central Piedmont Community College to provide opportunities for select high school juniors. You can earn dual high school and college credits, enjoy paid internships, learn from field experts and acquire certifications. You can earn $50,000 per year plus benefits before turning 20, or you can continue toward a four-year degree. Either way, you're choosing a lucrative, flexible career path without massive amounts of student loans.
