My friends and I enjoy the library makerspace during our lunch and healty kids free time. For the winter holidays we took a stack of books and created a tree. At first we just made a cicrcle of books and tried to go around and around, but our first tree did not look like a tree. We tried to fix it but it only got worse. That is when we knew we had to take all the books off and start again using the knowledge we had from observing how the books fit together. This time we were more careful with our layer placements at all levels as well as the thickness of books as well as whether the book was just "big" or "small"
