Part 1 - Optional and Encouraged

Flex Certificates
Eligible teachers who attend the Optional Crown Academy sessions (July 29-August 1 & August 5-8) will be issued a Flex Certificate for each of the days they attend. Flex Certificates can be turned into your school’s administrator when requesting to take off a non-required teacher workday. Visit the CMS 2024-2025 School Calendar to see the current Teacher Workdays. The dates below are currently required and not eligible for a Flex Certificate exchange, but any remaining days not required by your school’s principal can be taken off in exchange for the Flex Certificate you earn during Crown Academy.
