Summer 2021 Assignments

Check here for your summer assignments. There are assignments for grades 9-12 but not for every course. You can see the courses you are registered for in PowerSchool. Only complete assignments for the courses you are registered for! If you have any questions about summer assignments in general, contact Ms. Pasko (amye.strong@cms.k12.nc.us). If you have any questions about a specific assignment, you can find the teacher's summer contact information on the spreadsheet.

4/26/2021 Update

Exam Schedule:

Official IB exams have been cancelled. Students in EOC courses and CTE courses will take the state exam.

11/09/2020 Update

Good morning families! As we enter magnet lottery season, we welcome all interested middle school parents and students to join us at one of our upcoming magnet information sessions. You can find information session dates for North Meck as well as all other CMS magnets here.

9/02/2020 Update

As we are well into week 3 of virtual learning, keep in mind the first person who knows you are struggling is you! Be sure to be in constant contact with your teachers and fully engaged in lessons with cameras on if at all possible. Take advantage of teachers' office hours so they will know when you need help.

We need you to complete a couple of forms. MYP families should complete this Magnet Expectations Agreement (the "Magnet Compact"). DP families should complete this one.

All families should complete the below Student Information Form for Ms. Pasko. You must be signed in with your CMS student email address to complete this form.

8/19/2020 Update

We will provide district, state, and IB updates here as they are available. For now, all CMS schools will be function in Plan C -- Full Remote Instruction. Please sign up for your grade level's Remind (codes below) for IB updates. We will have parent information nights for each grade level the week of August 24th.

9th grade:

8/13/2020 Update

• Students will have access to their schedules via PowerSchool on Friday, August 14th.

• School will start at 8:00am on August 17th.

  • Login to Canvas early on Monday morning to make sure your courses are there. You will join your 1A class at 7:55am.

  • Your 1A course will have a link to its live video (via Zoom or Google Meet) on its front Canvas page.

  • Attendance will be taken every period from day 1 so be on time and ready to learn!
