Class Announcements

Homework:

Homework is assigned weekly and is to be turned in on Friday of each week. Students are not required show their homework each day, but they are encouraged to bring their homework to class daily and ask questions if help is needed. If you are signed up for the Talking Points app. You will receive the answers to the weekly homework in an effort to help you better assist your child at home. Each night your child should also be studying their Multiplication flash cards.

Attendance

Your child should be at school everyday unless he/she is sick. If your child is sick or misses school for any reason, please send a note so that we can determine if it is an excused or unexcused absence. If you know your child will be absent feel free to ask me for any work he/she may miss during their absence. Completing the work at home will not take place of the learning they will miss, but this may help your child not fall far behind.

Transportation

If your child is going to be sent home a different way than usual, please send a written note to school. If no written note is received, your child will be sent home by his/her usual method of transportation. Please do not email changes in transportation because I do not always have time to check my email during the day. If an emergency arises please call the front office with any necessary transportation changes.

Lunch

Our lunchtime is at 12:35. Lebanon Road provides free lunch for all students. This includes a main entree, side item, fruit and milk. Your child may also bring his/her lunch each day. Please label lunch boxes or sacks with your child's name. Ice cream and other sweets are also available to all students. Prices range from $.25-$1.25. Parents you are always welcome to join us for lunch. Adult lunches are priced "a la carte." When you arrive, please sign in at the office and meet us at the entrance of the cafeteria. Thank you!

If you would like to celebrate your child's birthday with treats during lunch please be mindful of our lunch time. All food must be store bought and can not contain nuts. There are currently 21 students in our classroom in our class.
