Citizens and Scholars

BUILDING CITIZENS & SCHOLARS IN OUR CLASSROOM:

Starting this year, each month we introduce a different "Learner Profile Trait" through morning meeting and other classroom activities. Once a month children that demonstrate the trait are chosen to be recognized publicly at school. At the end of each month we gather with the rest of the school for an assembly to celebrate our collective learning and development of each characteristic. One way to reinforce the concepts, skills, and traits being explored at school is by continuing the discussion with your family at dinner, in the car, or at bedtime.
