Class access

RUles & Expectations

● This is a welcoming class. Harassment or disrespect based on race, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, religion, ability/disability, ethnicity, and/or socioeconomic class will not be tolerated.

● Respect others: We may engage in discussion on topics that are very sensitive. Classmates may share their own experiences, so it is important to be respectful of others and their lived experience.

● Keep in mind that you are expected to behave as if you are in a college class.

● You will usually be directed to Canvas to locate class material, access lessons and complete assignments.

● Ask questions and ask for help! I'm available through Canvas messages, email, and Remind.

● Respect deadlines and due dates. Turn in work on or before the due date.

● Make good choices, which include:

 Showing respect to all staff & students.

 Paying attention to what is going on in Canvas.

 Obeying all school rules and policies.

 Using appropriate language in discussions and assignments.

 Obeying the Code of Conduct

 Cheating: If you are caught cheating, you will receive a zero on the assignment. Reporting will adhere to the school's honor code.
