Hello Everyone,

I am know we are going to have a great year at Jay M. Robinson this year. This will be my 17th year as a teacher and my 7th year in Charlotte-Mecklenburg schools. I am originally from East Bend, North Carolina, just west of Winston Salem. At home my job is that of a wife and mother. My husband James and my two children, Keane my Lego Building, Video Game Playing, Crazy Teen-ager and Kalin my Musical, Singing, and Animal Loving daughter keep me on my toes. I love to be with my family, ride my horse, explore new places, and make crafts.

I have worked in a variety of fields during school and after. I worked on my family's farm all of my life, at my father's landscaping business, general maintenance for Quaker Lake Camp, Medical Records Clerk, and was Autopsy assistant at Novant Health before I started teaching.

In 2018 I completed my Masters in Instructional Technology from East Carolina University and I am passionate about Personalized Learning through the use of technology.
