Meet Ms. Hill

Hello! My name is Kelly Hill. This will be my 9th year of teaching Kindergarten at HES and my 17th year of teaching overall.  I received my undergraduate degree in Elementary Education from the University of Maryland and my masters degree in Reading Education from Johns Hopkins University.  This year, I am working toward becoming a National Board Certified Teacher. 

Prior to moving to North Carolina in 2015, I grew up and lived in the DC area. I have three children: Leighton (11th grade), Jade (9th grade), & Owen (8th grade).  We have 3 sweet rescue cats named Neo, Mochi, & Lola.  When we're able, we love to foster kittens with a local rescue called Cats of Davidson. I also have an adorable hamster named Willow who lives in our classroom!
