We currently have 22 students in our class.

SNACK
Please send a healthy snack for your child to eat in class daily. Please refrain from sending desserts, candy, fruit cups, or juice. Snack should not be sent IN your child’s lunchbox as it might accidentally get eaten with the rest of lunch. Please pack snack separately in your child’s backpack.

Your child should wear comfortable clothes and sneakers on P.E. and Movement days.
Please return library books on or before Media days.
BIRTHDAYS
Students are allowed to celebrate birthdays in school during lunch time. Feel free to send in or bring a store-bought treat to share with the class. Homemade treats are not allowed to be served in school. Please notify me prior to bringing a treat to the cafeteria so I can make sure to supply any students with allergies with an alternate treat.
Students with summer birthdays will have a designated date in June when we will celebrate birthdays together.
MYSTERY READER
Each Friday, we will have a Mystery Reader visit to read a couple of stories aloud to our class. Mystery Readers may be parents, grandparents, family friends, older siblings, etc... To reserve a spot, you can access the Sign-Up Genius HERE. Please only sign up for one date at a time in order to allow all families to have the opportunity to participate. If none of the available dates work for you, please let me know and we will find something that works!
SCHOLASTIC BOOK CLUB
One of my main goals as your child's teacher is to help your child to fall in love with reading! I strive to provide our little learners with an AMAZING class library filled with familiar characters, engaging stories, and leveled readers that children love. Our class receives points for FREE books from Scholastic whenever families place an order using our class code.
