7th Grade

Students in A-Day Learning Lab will be working on a variety of skills across all subjects areas, as well as individualized skill support for their needs. The beginning of the school year will be spent learning study skills and learning styles.

The skills individualized to your students' needs include:

1) Study skills

2) Executive functioning skills

3) Social/behavior skills

4) Content support for core classes

5) Small group/1:1 time for specific goals

Students in B-Day Learning Lab will be participating in the Fusion Reading program for the first portion of class. Fusion Reading is a comprehensive, research-based reading intervention program for students in grades 6-12. This program provides a flexible, multi-year program that provides struggling adolescent students with the skills they need to quickly become fluent, competent, and confident readers. Students learn to read award-winning books that are relevant to their lives and/or the lives of those around them.

The second part of our class will be focused on a variety of skills individualized to your students' needs. This includes
