Expectations

Before I get into the regular expectations of all my students I would like to say that you are in this class because you are a high performing math student! :-) This class will be the hardest class you have taken in your academic life. I say that because it is a high school level course. I also say that because I want to be honest with you...You will be challenged, stretched, and encouraged. You will NOT get the answer every time, the first time, and so on. I teach so that you can think and own the mathematics yourself. Some of you will not be used to persevering through a problem, and that's fine because I'M HERE TO HELP YOU :-D. There will be lots of work and we will move relatively fast because we a lot to cover. We will also need to cover the Math 8 material that you are expected to know for the Math 8 EOG. Know that I believe in you and we'll get through it!
