welcome to mr. o'neal's math class

Let me first start off saying that I love what I do! You will see it as the year goes on. This year marks my 11th year of teaching and I can't believe time has gone by so fast! I'm excited about this year and can't wait to do what I do best, inspire youth. I am originally from Eastern North Carolina. I graduated from NC State "WOLFPACK BABY" in 2006 and moved to Pittsburgh "The Burgh" in 2007. There I taught in three different districts, Pittsburgh Public Schools(1/2 a year) , McKeesport Area School District (7 years) and Bethel Park School District (1 year). In 2016 I made the decision to move back home to North Carolina and I am now entering my 4th year here as a 8th grade math teacher. I realize that the middle years are vital and I know 8th grade is the final push before students head to high school. With that in mind, I'm going to push you like NEVER before. I see excellence in my students. I strive to demonstrate excellence and I want my students to do the same. I love what I do! And I am glad I get to do something I love!!!!
