Tutorial Sites

Brightstorm.com Lots of short, focused tutorial videos. If you are having trouble with the brightstorm website, many of the videos have been posted (by the brightstorm website) on YouTube.

Georgia Public Broadcasting Chemistry Program - Longer videos, but using more "student friendly" language

Professor Dave Explains - YouTube channel - I really like these - they sometimes go into more detail than you need to know, but the detail does help with understanding.

Interactive tutorial and practice Always click the "new problem" to start, and use the "check answer" button, even if it says you are correct - some of the problems allow for rather a lot of error (more than would be allowed on a test).

Another site with several videos and PowerPoint presentations that may be helpful.

Lots of simulations for both chemistry and physics. Use the search function to find a simulation on a particular topic.

Some links dealing with bonding and properties... Chemical Bonds deciding bond type properties of compounds Bond Types

And some on intermolecular forces - IMF slideshow IMF Video IMF tutorial website Hydrogen Bonding Recap IMF tutorial website 2 (from Mr. Guch's Cavalcade o' Chemistry below)

Cavalcade o' Chemistry - a site with tons of information, tutorials and practice worksheets.
