Grading Policy Highlights

All students will take FULL responsibility for their grades. You receive the grade that you EARN.

PREPARE (20% of Final Grade)

Includes warm-ups, exit tickets, smaller checks for understanding

REHEARSE (30% of Final Grade)

Classwork, quizzes, mini-projects

PERFORM  (50% of Final Grade)

Unit Test and Major Projects 

-50% will be the lowest grade for any test or project (except midterm and final exam). The comments section will note the actual grade achieved.

Retesting 

If a student gets less than a 80% on any test, they have the opportunity to take a retest for a higher grade.

Prior to retesting the student must do two things:

1. Follow and complete the test corrections canvas assignment

2. Submit on or prior to the due date within the test corrections canvas assignment
