I want to take the time to welcome you and tell you a little bit about myself. My name is Sonia Stahl and I will be your child’s first grade teacher. This is my fourteen year as a first grade teacher in the French Immersion Program. I love teaching first graders; they are funny, curious and want to learn.

I am originally from Puerto Rico. I have a MA. in French and I have taught for more than fifteen years to students of all levels.

I am married to Christian, who is originally from Germany. We have four adult children. All of our children were part of the German immersion program, and continue to use their languages skills in their professions.

I love to dance and I am a Jane Austen and Downton Abbey junkie. I love to cook and work in my yard.
