Please click the video of Mindfulness to play whenever you need. :) -Staff & Students
Suggestion: Get a notebook or some paper for yourself and use it to write down or draw your thoughts about how the mindfulness session went for you as if I was there asking you these questions in the classroom. Remember each session may not be the same and that is OK. I would love to hear how it goes for you! Send a message!
Students & Teachers: For those that have had weekly Mindfulness sessions with me know that we have used multiple videos. Please let me know if you want any new videos or would like me to do a live session through Google Meet. We can try it out!
Here are all of the ones we have used so far! I keep them playing in the background while I work. It helps me stay calm and focused!
They are from YouTube Channels Called "Soothing Relaxation" or "Meditation Music Relax" and "OCB Relax Music"
This is the newest one. We did not get to try it out. But a great one!
This the one with waterfalls and beaches we used in the beginning of the year.
This is the 8 hour underwater ocean one.
This is the one where we feel we are drifting in the ocean.
This is the one that had the person helping the other person get up. The one where we talked about compassion and having light in your heart!
This is the one we did recently also talked about perseverance and integrity. We talked about pretending you were there in the video.
This is the one, where I told you it would feel like you are in a dream.
This is our most recent video we have used for weeks now. This is the one that has the water sounds and we have been talking about this water giving us strength and imaging the water is washing away our negative emotions and filling our minds and bodies with positive emotions.
Note: The following images are from a book called "Master of Mindfulness" There is a section of Mindfulness I am explaining to students about the Brain and Mindfulness. Just some food for thoughts that I found interesting!
This is the newest one for May 11, 2020
