My name is Katherine Williams and this is my second year at Lawrence Orr and my 24th year as a Speech- Language Pathologist. I am so excited to be working with the wonderful staff, students, and parents here at the school. I am originally from Bloomfield Hills, Michigan. However, I have been living and working in North Carolina for 22 years. Before moving to Charlotte Mecklenburg Schools, I worked in Guilford County Schools as an itinerant Speech-Language Pathologist with the preschool program as well as with school based preschoolers and school aged children. I received an undergraduate degree in education from North Carolina Central University and a graduate degree in Speech/Language Pathology from South Carolina State University.
