Technology FAQs

Staff Device repair

MS Technology will continue to offer staff laptop drive up support with day and time changes to align with staff availability on remote learning days on Wednesdays. The technology team strives to service as many tickets on site first and this is a secondary option if staff needs immediate assistance with their assigned laptop. The new schedule will begin during Spring Break with a modified schedule on the April 1st teacher workday. We will continue normal service days and time through March 30th. We are adding an appointment form to the process to help expedite service for staff and reduce wait times. Please use the following link to schedule an appointment:

The appointment slots will open up after the Thursday, April 1st session.

Syncing Grades to PowerSchool from Canvas

Chromebook

  • We are only doing device pickups on Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 9-12.

  • If students need in-person device support, it's during those same times.

Hot Spots

  • Let any family know they can come to the school for assistance.

  • Please have any scholar fill out this form IF they are able, otherwise just send them to the school.

Students saying "Cannot get on to ZOOM"

  • Have them try your link again and double check that they have the correct zoom link.

  • It helps if they close the Zoom window and try again.

  • It may also be beneficial for you to make sure that your Zoom Link is available in the easiest possible place to find on your Canvas Homepage

  • If your scholar needs more specific help, you may refer them to the form on the Remote Learning Hub.

Student ZOOM Name Incorrect

The links to those resources are above.

If you student ever says, "I am seeing Access Denied,"

It means there is a page on your canvas that is not published. You will need to go into your Canvas Course and publish the page so that students can see it it. If that page is not necessary i.e. if you are not using the "live lessons" button delete it and include a description of where your zoom link is in size 72 font on your homepage.

If your students ever say, "I can't log onto my Chromebook"
