All CMS instructional staff and students will begin using CMS LaunchPad to access online learning resources on August 16, 2023. ClassLink provides additional benefits that strengthen our security posture and protect student and staff data. Furthermore, Technology Services will reset all student passwords and students will be required to have new passwords with complexity as outlined below as well as MFA.
Staff can navigate to the CMS Launchpad from any browser by typing in the following URL https://launchpad.classlink.com/cmsk12 and clicking on the “STAFF SIGN IN HERE” button.
Students will need to first log in to the CMS Launchpad from a CMS Chromebook or CMS iPad and not from a CMS Windows device.
New student password requirements:
Username: student ID number
Default Password: PwyyyymmddCMS For example, if the student's birthday was Jan 2nd, 2013, then the password would be Pw20130122CMS
Students will then be prompted to change their password to a password that fits the following criteria:
PreK-5th Graders: Students will need to create a password that is at least 8 characters long.
After students change their password, they will have to set up multi-factor authentication (MFA) on their CMS LaunchPad account.
PreK-5th Graders: students will pick an image from a group of images.
Screen share is an easier way to share your screen on your Promethean board.
