The Library should be a place where students can learn, read, explore, think, and feel welcome. In order to make this a great place for everybody, it is important that students remember to be respectful of others and responsible for themselves. I have discuss the rules with each class as needed throughout the year.

If a student has difficulty following these rules, I will:

1. Give a verbal reminder for the first offense.

2. Give a consequence (move seating, take away free time in media, etc) within class for the second offense.

3. Contact parents for the third and any further offenses.

Please note -- this pertains to MINOR issues. Major issues (fighting, bullying etc.) will be referred to the office.
