Support Local Organizations

The Humane Society of Charlotte offers a variety of Community Service Opportunities for young people under the age of 18. Two hands-on activities you can do at home are making homemade cat toys or homemade dog treats.  Do a quick Google Search and you'll find lots of suggestions for do-it-yourself cat toys or recipes for dog treats. Once your creations are complete, take them to the Humane Society of Charlotte for donation!

Angels & Sparrows is a soup kitchen that serves the Huntersville community. They serve meals daily to those in need and provide grocery boxes for families that aren't able to come to the kitchen because of Covid or lack of transportation. You can support them by dropping of items on their Immediate Needs Wishlist. Work with friends or family to see if you can get together enough items for at least one box!
