Cambridge students begin with IGCSE courses that will prepare them for the college level AS and A level courses. IGCSE courses are open to any student who wants to learn and develop their skills in critical thinking, writing, collaboration, and global competency.

Prepare students for AS/A levels and the AICE Diploma track
One-half point is calculated into GPA for these courses

College level courses
A qualifying score on the end of course exam can be used for college credit
"AS" level courses are the first year of a college course, and "A" levels are the second year
The "AS" level of a course must be taken before the "A" level
One point is calculated into GPA for these courses

CIE English General Paper AS (Although a college level course, General Paper is highly recommended for 9th and 10th grade students. Its purpose is to build the writing and reasoning skills required of the AS and A level courses.)

The AICE Diploma
The AICE Diploma
The AICE Diploma is awarded to students who achieve a minimum of seven credits in AS or A level courses. Students must take at least one course from each of groups 1-4 (see chart below). AS level exams must be taken within a three-year period to qualify for the AICE Diploma.
