Cambridge students begin with IGCSE courses that will prepare them for the college level AS and A level courses. IGCSE courses are open to any student who wants to learn and develop their skills in critical thinking, writing, collaboration, and global competency.
Honors level courses
Usually taken in 9th-11th grades
Prepare students for AS/A levels and the AICE Diploma track
One-half point is calculated into GPA for these courses

College-level courses
A qualifying score on the end-of-course exam can be used for college credit
"AS" level courses are the first year of a college course, and "A" levels are the second year
The "AS" level of a course must be taken before the "A" level
One point is calculated into the GPA for these courses
AS level courses offered for 2025-2026
CIE English General Paper AS (Although a college-level course, General Paper is highly recommended for 9th and 10th grade students. Its purpose is to build the writing and reasoning skills required of the AS and A level courses.)

Students cannot take this course until they have taken and passed General Paper AS
The AICE Diploma is awarded to students who achieve a minimum of seven credits in AS or A-level courses. Students must take at least one course from each of groups 1-4 (see chart below). AS-level exams must be taken within three years to qualify for the AICE Diploma.
