Hello! My name is Cadet Lieutenant Colonel Kaitlyn Yu, and I am the Hopewell Titan Battalion Commander. I am a senior and a LET-4. As the Battalion Commander, I am responsible for everything the battalion does and fails to do, including setting the program's direction, working closely with my staff to oversee all operations, and upholding the battalion’s standards of excellence. I am the Rifle Team Captain and a Book Study and JLAB member. Outside of JROTC, I’m a member of the Beta Club, volunteer at Novant Health, and train in MMA. I plan to attend either Texas A&M, where I intend to major in biomedical engineering. I enjoy hiking, gardening, language learning, and drawing in my free time.

Hello! My name is Cadet Major Ian Cavendish, and I am the Hopewell Titan Battalion Executive Officer. I am currently a senior and a LET-4. As the Executive Officer, I lead the Battalion Staff in completing functions and operations. I am the Raider Team Commander and A-Team Captain. I am also the JROTC Drone Club Liaison and Orienteering Team Co-Captain. I am an Eagle Scout, Cross Country Runner, Order of the Arrow Member, and student pilot. My graduation plans are to attend the United States Military Academy or the United States Air Force Academy and become a Military Officer. I enjoy cycling, mountain biking, and building Legos in my free time.

Hello! My name is Cadet Command Sergeant Major Megan Sherrill, and I am the Hopewell Titan Battalion Command Sergeant Major. I am currently a senior and a Let-4. As the command sergeant major I oversee company staff and I am the sounding board for the BC. I am also the Drill and Color Guard team commander. Additionally, I was a JLAB member. Outside of JROTC, I am a member of the Army National Guard Reserves and work at a restaurant. After high school, I plan to attend a 4 year college majoring in biochemistry while pursuing pre-med on my path to becoming a doctor. I enjoy reading books, baking, and going to the gym in my free time.
Hello! I am Cadet Captain Raia Salaam. I am the Hopewell Battalion’s S-1 Personnel and Administration Officer. I am a LET IV and a Senior. As the Battalion’s S-1, I keep records and maintain all of the personal files of cadets. I am the Rifle Team Co-Captain, and a member of JLAB, Book Study, and the Cyber team. Outside of JROTC, I am the clarinet section leader in the Titanium Sound marching band, a member of the Beta Club, Key Club, and National Honor Society, and I volunteer at the Humane Society of Charlotte. I plan to attend UC Davis or Colorado State University where I will major in Veterinary science, with a minor in business or accounting. In my free time, I enjoy reading, art, going out in nature, and anything to do with animals.
Hello! My name is Cadet Captain Morgan Guissari and I am the Hopewell Titan Battalion S-2. The S-2 is the Titans Security and Safety officer, I am in charge of making sure permission slips are made for each event. In tune with that, I make sure all of the risk assessments are made so that if there is a problem we know how to go about it. I am a part of the Colorguard and the Drill team as well as the JLAB team. I also participate in the Beta Club and do volunteer work with the American Legion which I am a junior member. I am taking some classes through CPCC and hoping to get enough credits for my freshman year. When I graduate I plan to attend a four-year University doing ROTC and studying either Engineering or Law. I like to hang out with my friends and family in my free time. I also have a job at Publix. I like to read and build Legos in my free time.
Hello. My name is Cadet Captain Gabrielle Peterson and I am the Hopewell Titan Battalion Training and Operations Officer. I am a senior and a LET-4. As the S-3, I am responsible for creating and maintaining, OPORDS, training schedules, and MOIs. I participate in Color Guard and am the manager of the Raider team. I also participate in the National Honors Society and take college classes through CPCC. When I graduate I plan to attend Western Carolina University and major in secondary education. In my free time, I spend time with family and friends, read, and like to be outside.
Hello! My name is Cadet Captain Gabriella Johnson, and I am the Hopewell Titan Battalion Logistics and Supply Officer. I am a senior and a LET-4. As the S-4, I am responsible for the maintenance, security, record keeping, issue, and turn-in of all JROTC property. In JROTC, I am a part of the Drill, Colorguard, and JLAB team. Outside of JROTC, I am a part of the National Beta Club. I also have a job at Publix. My plans after high school are to attend a four-year university and pursue the pre-med pathway majoring in Anatomy and physiology. In my free time, I enjoyed hanging out with friends, playing video games, volleyball, reading, and building Legos.
Hello! My name is Cadet Captain Andrew “Reed” Hinson, and I am the Hopewell Titan Battalion Public Affairs Officer. I am a senior and a LET-4. As the S-5, I am responsible for the Battalion website, social media, and other Battalion news outlets. In JROTC, I am a part of the Drill, Color Guard, Honor Guard, Cybersecurity, and JLAB teams. Outside of JROTC, I am a part of the National Honor Society and Boy Scouts. Following high school, I plan to attend a four-year university and major in Data Science. I also plan to do Air Force ROTC while in school and become a part-time Emergency Medical Technician. In my free time, I enjoy kayaking, hiking, and backpacking.
