Ayo Adisa, M.Ed, NCC
This year will be my 11th year at Huntingtowne Farms as a school counselor. This year I will be working primarily with 1st, 3rd and 5th grades.
My family is originally from Nigeria, born in Nashville, TN and grew up in Pittsburgh, PA. It goes without saying that I'm a huge Steelers fan! I got my undergraduate degree in Psychology at Slippery Rock University (I promise it's a real school). I then went back to Slippery Rock University and got my masters degree in school counseling in 2009.
I moved down to Charlotte in 2010 and the rest is history! I love spending time with my wife and the newest addition to my family, Camille, who was born in March 2016. Other things I like to do is play sports, read, and spend time with family.
Amanda Gray, MA, NCC
I have been working at Huntingtowne Farms as a School Counselor since January 2016 and I LOVE it. During the 2021- 2022 school year I will be serving Kindergarten, 2nd and 4th graders.
I got my undergraduate degree in Elementary Education and taught 5th grade for 2 years before going to Graduate School. I graduated with my Masters in May 2016. For both degrees I attended Appalachian State University. Go Mountaineers!
I have lived in Charlotte almost my whole life. I love spending time with family and friends. Some of my favorite things are running, yoga, coffee, and chocolate... of course I can't forget hiking with my dog, Finn!
My goal for this school year is to ensure that every student knows how much they truly matter.
