Upon approval, each club is expected to adhere and maintain the following expectations throughout the school year in order to remain in active status. If the one or more of the guidelines are violated, the club will be placed in probationary status. Probationary status constitutes of a warning and a two month compliance deadline. If the club is unable to rectify the violation within the given time period, the club will be placed into inactive status or dissolved. The guidelines listed below are the general guidelines that must be followed by all ICC Clubs are Harding University High School.
*Note: Some clubs, such as Honor Society clubs are monitored and regulated by state and national guidelines, in which the group must follow all state and national guidelines, as well as the ICC guidelines for Harding University High School.
General ICC Guidelines:
Club has at least 20 member attend each of their meetings.
Club send their designated ICC representative to each ICC meeting. Another representative or club officer may be sent in the place of the designated ICC representative.
Club meetings must meet minimally once per month. Monthly meetings (dates/times) must be identified and specified on the club application.
Club must abide by and uphold the ICC and club constitution.
Club participates in club rushes, homecoming, and designated school events.
Club must complete community outreach/service project each year. Participation forms should document and reflect that 50% participation of the club membership.
At each club meeting, member attendance and meeting minutes must be uploaded to the club's Google Folder.
Club follows all school policies and procedures at all times.
All office elections for the next school year must occur in the spring of the previous school year. For example, the 2023-2024 officers for a club should be elected the spring of 2023 or at the end of the 2022 - 2023 school year.
NOTE: This year's elections will take place once approval has been granted for club establishment.
ICC representatives cannot be the ICC representative for another club.
