The GVSA Student Services Team is hosting an Angel Tree. We are asking that teachers, staff and parents, who are able, to take an ornament off of the tree. The tree is located in the teacher workroom, so parents will have to ask office staff to grab them a number off of the tree. All gifts are due to the school by December 14.
November is Give Thanks Month

The GVSA Student Services Team is hosting a Care Drive. We are collecting care items such as gently used clothes, can food, toiletries, and non-perishable snacks in an effort to create a GVSA Pantry for our families. You can bring items to the front office during the month of November.

CMS & GVSA have a ZERO Tolerance Policy for bullying. If there is any speculation of bullying please let the teacher, administrator, or a student services team member know so that we can get to the bottom of it. We want all of our students to feel safe when coming to school.

Parents we are encouraging all of our students to attend school everyday! We need your help to make sure our students are at school every day and on time!
FREE MECKTECH LAPTOP OPPORTUNITY
Through the Emergency Connectivity Fund (ECF), the Charlotte Mecklenburg Library will be issuing 20,000 refurbished laptops to eligible adults in Mecklenburg County. Each laptop is free and includes preloaded productivity and education applications as well as all necessary hardware needed for set-up. Laptops available for educational/employment needs!
