1st grade is learning about coins and how to count them.
Plus who doesn't like money...right?
So kindergartners, 1st graders, and 2nd graders are all invited to check out this website to learn about about coins, see how they're made, and play some games involving their knowledge of coins.

Weekly Challenge directions: I'm sure everyone has been using their technology a lot these days so here's your challenge for this week.
Step 1) Take at least a 30 minute break from using your technology.
Step 2) Play with a toy that has been getting dusty on a shelf or go outside (if your family says it's ok) and do something fun.
Step 3) Ask a grown up to take a picture of you doing your technology break activity
Step 4) If your grown up(s) say it is ok I will post the photos to this webpage. Parents or guardians may submit photos to vincent1.marino@cms.k12.nc.us
Steps 3 and 4 are not required
