To get started student will need to log into their NC ED account. From there, click on the Clever icon. You will see the Naviance app. Click on the app. No password needed.
Here is a very helpful series of videos on the steps students must follow in Naviance for College Applications:
Many college accept the Common App so that students don't need to repeat the same application over and over. The Common App allows students to fill in requested information about demographics, academics, and resume just one. There is also a Common App Essay. Often, though, colleges/universities request additional statements or essays to complete applications.
Counselors know which schools students will apply to based on the list students provide through Naviance. Connect these two accounts is an important step. It is not difficult and the video here explains the process.
Go to CFNC.org to complete. Students applying to colleges in North Carolina must complete the Residency Determination Services or RDS. This process proves a family's residency in the state of North Carolina so that in-state tuition is paid. Upon completion of this process, students will have an RDS code number that will be added to all in state applications.

It will be sent after school lets out but again -- only if you request it through Naviance.
