Ms. Nickens' 

My name is Amanda Nickens, and I am thrilled to start my 13th year of teaching at Dilworth. I am from St. Petersburg, FL and went to Duke University for undergrad- Go Blue Devils!  I also received my Masters in Education Leadership from Winthrop University. I will be focusing on small group literacy instruction this year and supporting fourth graders in comprehension skills.  Outside of teaching, I enjoy running, traveling, walking my golden retriever and spending time with my husband and family. I am excited for this school year!!
