Hello! This is my 13th year teaching at the Big I. I've taught English I, English 3, Literacy, Debate, Yearbook, and SAT Prep during my time here. I am originally from Detroit, Michigan (which I will talk about a lot if you know me!) and graduated with degrees in Speech and English from Central Michigan University.

I am a huge fan of the Detroit Red Wings, Detroit Tigers, and Detroit Lions. During my spare time I enjoy getting lost in a good book and decorating cakes. I love to travel and am lucky my best friends live in Miami and Southern California, so I have warm places to visit. 

I'm recently a dog mom to my golden retriever, Piper. She loves chewing things she isn't supposed to and jumping up on furniture, but she can get away with it because she is so cute!
