Cougars! We have two exciting opportunities to share with you this morning—one for our current sophomores and one for our graduating seniors.

1. Represent Your Peers: NC State Superintendent’s Student Advisory Council

Target Audience: Rising Juniors (Current Sophomores)

Are you interested in education policy and making your voice heard? State Superintendent Mo Green is looking for student leaders to serve on the Student Advisory Council. This is a powerful way to represent your community and help shape the future of North Carolina schools.

2. Launch Your Career: CMS Teacher Apprenticeship

Target Audience: Graduating Seniors

Are you passionate about education? CMS is looking for graduating seniors to join the Teacher Apprenticeship Program. This is an incredible pathway into the teaching profession with hands-on experience and support.

Special Note: We are looking for seniors from all backgrounds! While students who have taken TaaP (Teaching as a Profession) classes are encouraged to apply, you do not need to have taken these classes or come from a TaaP-offering school to be eligible.
