Dear Families,
Welcome or welcome back to the Upper Elementary Program at Sedgefield. Your child is Ms. Monique and Ms. Michelle’s Class. We hope that your child has been reading and practicing math facts during the summer. Please be on the lookout for the school’s open house date which is announced over summer break. It is usually held on the Thursday before the first day of school. This year it’s on August 20th from 4-6! It’s a great opportunity to see our space and meet us. Returning students are welcome to come by and see updates too!
Supplies: The upper elementary team decided on a uniform supply list for everyone. Purchasing the box through the school is optional, but many families find it helpful. Each purchase will be delivered to the classroom for you. If you do not purchase the kit, then please make sure to see the second page for the supply list. Kindly bring everything to the open house or on the first day of school.

Ms. Monique’s Class Upper Elementary School Supply List
Solo Supplies:
(8) Composition notebooks (wide ruled)
(2) no prong plastic folders any color
(2) pink erasers
(1) pencil pouch*
(1) small sketchbook*
(1) pair Headphones or wired earbuds*(bluetooth isn't always compatible with the devices)
(1) small backpack or tote bag*
(1) lunch bag if bringing in a lunch or snack*
(1) reusable water bottle*
Community supplies:
(2) pkgs of sticky notes
(24) pencils (Ticonderoga brand preferred)
(1) pack colored pencils
(2) glue sticks
(2) boxes of tissues
(1) pkg of white index cards
(1) thin black sharpie
Other:
4th graders- (or any new student)- (1) one inch binder & 8 tab dividers for Art*
5th graders- (1) one inch binder for science & 2 bottles of disinfecting cleaning wipes *
6th graders- (1) pkg of band aids and *1 one inch binder & 8 tab pocket dividers*
* these items are not included in the Upper El supply box
