CHMS offers a wide range of fine arts opportunities for students. Our school has strong programs in dance, drama, chorus, piano, and visual art. Students can participate in semester-long classes as well as a variety of activities throughout the year.
In recent years, we have celebrated student success through annual chorus concerts, semester art showcases, improv shows, and full-scale musical productions. These experiences allow students to develop their creativity, build confidence, and showcase their talents.
We are fortunate to have the support of our Fine Arts Booster Club. This dedicated group of parents plays a vital role in sustaining our programs and helping students participate, grow, and achieve their artistic goals.
For more information or to support the Fine Arts Booster Club, please refer to the membership form or contact one of our fine arts teachers.

Arts Education? I know why!
"The ability to recognize opportunities and move in new - and sometimes unexpected - directions will benefit you no matter your interests or aspirations. An education grounded in the arts is designed to equip students for just such flexibility and imagination." Drew Gilpin Faust
Why her words matter...Catharine Drew Gilpin Faust is an American historian and author who served as the 28th president of Harvard University from 2007 to 2018. She was Harvard's first female president, its first president since 1672 without a Harvard undergraduate or graduate degree, and the first to have been raised in the South.
