2021 - 2022
January
2nd and 3rd Graders will complete the digital citizenship courses, and first graders will participate in choice activities. Students will also learn about the Caldecott Medal and continue their unit on "just right" books from earlier in the year.

March
2nd graders continue book clubs through the end of the 3rd quarter. Students will create an an original piece of art to reflect their favorite part of their book club book. Students will also write and type a caption for their art work using the Chromebooks.
February
3rd graders will share their book club projects on Feb. 13.
2nd graders begin book clubs, which meet weekly in the media center.
January
All grades will begin instruction in digital citizenship.
3rd graders will continue to create their eBook. they will work with Ms. Kristen to create an original piece of art to use as an illustration for their eBook.

ALL lower el students are encouraged to create a gingerbread house out of non-food items. Information will go home the week of Nov. 4-8. Projects are due to the media center by Friday, Dec. 6.

1st graders will continue to practice where to locate materials in the media center and will practice locating fiction books by the author's last name. Alphabet skills will be reinforced.
2nd graders will continue to practice searching for books using the online catalog.
3rd graders will receive a lesson about how to use a Chromebook and will reset their Google password to a password of their choice.
