This is a series of examples of how you can use Google Apps Script to provide feedback and grades to Canvas assignment submissions and discussion responses.
In Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools, we have configured an introduction to Canvas course with the purpose of training our teachers on the essential elements of Canvas. This course is, for the most part, graded automatically freeing up time to provide the essential feedback and one on one support that some learners require.

The following three links will take you to a "Free for Teachers" Canvas course. You will need to sign-up for a Canvas account with the canvas.instructure.com domain if you do not have one already. These assignments will give you examples of how we have built some automation into Canvas using Google Apps Scripts. When you submit a response to each Challenge, you should receive feedback concerning that challenge immediately or at least within a few minutes.
